• farmerswife v7.0 is equipped with enhanced search functions, support for multiple currencies, and a dark mode for improved user experience. Meanwhile, Cirkus, the day-to-day task collaboration tool, offers a wider range of options to schedule, assign, and manage projects.

  • It’s the first time that these new versions are presented in Europe, after their successful launch at NAB Show in Las Vegas.

farmerswife, a leading software provider for resource scheduling, project management, and team collaboration in the media industry, will be showcasing for the first time in Europe the new version of the farmerswife tool, and updates to the Cirkus project management solution at the 2023 Media Production & Technology Show (MPTS), from 10 to 11 May 2023 at the Olympia London.

First launched in April at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, the version 7.0 of the farmerswife scheduling, management and reporting tool has incorporated several new features to make workflow management and collaboration easier. The Dark Mode option provides a better user experience, and support for multiple currencies, while improved search functions make it easier to manage finances and find relevant information.

Cirkus, a cloud-based day-to-day task collaboration tool, has also been enhanced to provide even greater resources for scheduling, assigning, and managing projects across an organisation and with external contractors. The latest update includes Personnel Bookings for Schedules and improved Project Flows, with date offsets in Project Templates and Project Requests/Approvals. The search feature in Cirkus has been upgraded too and now allows users to save and share common queries.

The two software tools can work together or as standalone products to address the specific needs of media organisations. While farmerswife provides in-house scheduling, resource management, and financial reporting, Cirkus acts as the collaboration platform to share detailed information with distributed teams both internally and externally.

“We are thrilled to showcase the latest versions of our flagship products at MPTS, the UK’s biggest event dedicated to the media and broadcast industries,” says Jennifer Way, Managing Director UK at farmerswife. “As always, our goal is to simplify the lives of media professionals, allowing them to concentrate on what they do best: creating compelling content that audiences worldwide will love. With farmerswife v7.0 and the new version of Cirkus, this is now more attainable than ever before.”
