The introduction of the Power Core Rev3 in 2023 lifted the performance of Power Core once again and introduced new features such as increased streaming capabilities and native 96kHz support.
Today – Lawo announces the End-of-Production for Power Core Revision 2. All related components and slot-in cards remain fully compatible and are not affected. For existing installations utilizing Power Core Revision 2, there is a last time buy window until July 31st, 2025.
Support will be offered according to Lawo’s terms and conditions of sale; however, due to increasing complexity in supply chain, Lawo’s support team will only be able to service Power Core Rev 2 units with components still in stock; supplies of replacement components will be limited to stock on hand. Limited numbers of products for replacement might also be available until end of stock.
Lawo’s Power Core Rev 3 is the perfect successor product to Power Core Rev 2. It builds on the strengths of Rev 2 and adds even more value and features to the product. All related components and slot-in cards for Rev 2 remain compatible with Rev 3.
Power Core Rev 3 equally serves various purposes from a pure modular conversion Gateway up to a fully-fledged Remote production IO with integrated and remote-controllable DSP.
Additionally, Power Core Rev 3 delivers an increased streaming performance with up to 512 AoIP channels as well as native support for 96 kHz.
