Weybridge UK, 17th April 2025: Canon Medical Systems Europe (CMSE) has chosen Pro Systems and Sony Professional Displays & Solutions Europe to provide displays and a workplace management solution for its new Headquarters and Academy in the Netherlands.

CMSE markets and services radiology and cardiovascular systems in Europe and recently relocated its European Headquarters to Amstelveen, The Netherlands to speak to the needs of its ever-evolving workforce and provide a fresh approach to office spaces that prioritises collaboration and flexibility.

During the relocation, CMSE also introduced its new state-of-the-art Canon Medical Academy Europe which will play a pivotal role in nurturing talent, fostering collaboration, and advancing medical knowledge for the betterment of society. Because of the relocation and opening of the new academy, CMSE’s requirements and preferences for supporting technologies were assessed, and there was a need for a centralised system for room booking, desk booking, parking management, digital signage and wireless presenting.

“The way CMSE work has dramatically evolved during the post-pandemic world, and since the introduction of its academy that’s dedicated to training and education, they needed to upgrade their workspaces to suit the needs of its medical professionals,” says Pro Systems.

CMSE has relied on the audiovisual solutions and services of Pro Systems for over a decade and was recommended to implement Sony’s TEOS workspace management solutions because of its scalability, ease of install and sleek design. TEOS gives CMSE complete control over devices, signage and content throughout the entire workplace ecosystem – from meeting rooms to reception areas.

Alongside TEOS, Pro Systems also installed 31 Sony BRAVIA professional displays (BZ40H, BZ40L and BZ30J models), which are equipped throughout the building for digital signage, wayfinding tools and presenting applications. BRAVIA displays also feature a “DIDCOM Sim mode” that allows for the correct display of X-ray images for non-diagnostic purposes – A very important feature to the academy and workspace for users. CMSE workers can wirelessly present via the TEOS mobile app, making meetings and sharing content easier than ever before. With Sony’s BRAVIA Supervisor tool, AV managers can remotely manage the displays and change the content as requires.

Additionally, CMSE also utilise the workplace, room and parking management modules of TEOS, with the entire academy equipped with reservation displays outside all meeting rooms and training spaces.

“It’s great to support CMSE with the move to their new headquarters and opening of a new academy, providing essential training for medical professionals. Our TEOS solution and BRAVIA displays are a match made in heaven for businesses wanting an appealing workspace that doesn’t just look good, but works good for every employee,” says Adam Dover, Senior Trade and Corporate Marketing Manager, Sony Europe.
