Cleveland, Ohio (March 27, 2025) – Telos Alliance®, trusted global leader in broadcast audio for more than three decades, is introducing a brand-new product in its growing family of AoIP mixing consoles: Axia® Altus_SE.

Altus_SE will allow customers to enjoy the many benefits of the company’s popular Axia Altus virtual mixing console in a form factor that prioritizes simple, straightforward deployment and installation. Like the original software implementation of Altus, Altus_SE offers a full-function browser-based mixer for remote events and contributors, allows quick and easy deployment of temporary studios, and provides an easy low-cost option for disaster recovery sites.

Built on the same compact, fanless hardware as the recently introduced Telos VX® Duo broadcast phone system, its small size and silent operation also make it an ideal choice for in-studio use.

A base Altus_SE license includes 8 faders and can be expanded to up to 24 faders in 4-fader increments via buyout-style licenses. Customers seeking a simple and hassle-free means of adding WebRTC can subscribe to a pair of SaaS offerings, including a Telos Alliance AWS-hosted Beacon server and STUN and TURN services available directly through Xirsys.

“Our customers have told us they love everything Axia Altus brings to the table in terms of features and flexibility, but the prospect of deploying the software themselves keeps them from making the leap to a virtual console,” said Cam Eicher, Telos Alliance VP of Worldwide Sales. “Altus_SE removes that barrier, delivering all of the advantages of a software-based mixer on a dedicated hardware platform that couldn’t be any easier to install and deploy, either remotely or in a studio environment.”

Altus_SE will be demonstrated at the 2025 NAB Show in the Telos Alliance Booth, North Hall Booth N721, and will be available in Q2 2025.
