Visual Data, a worldwide provider of Localisation and end-to-end digital media services, have announced their participation in the 2022 International Languages & The Media Conference and Exhibition in November. They will be discussing key trends in localisation, issues around demand and quality in subtitling and dubbing, and industry predictions.

Languages & The Media has established itself as Europe’s leading conference in the AVT industry and is a vibrant hub for exchange, learning and discussion. During the event, Simon Constable, SVP Global Language Services at Visual Data, will be speaking as part of a ‘Content Globalisation’ panel. Along with panelists Catherine Retat of Netflix France and Chloe Roux of Arte France, Constable will touch on topics such as the boom of global and multilingual content, the implementation of technology in the localisation process both in subtitling and dubbing, strategies for more accessible, inclusive and diverse content, and future trends in the industry.

“I’m thrilled to be part of this year’s Languages & the Media Conference esteemed panel of speakers,” commented Constable. “Our industry is evolving more rapidly than ever, and the more we engage with each other to discuss opportunities for standards, processes and capacity management, the better prepared we will be for the future.”

Attendees are invited to learn more about Visual Data’s global language service offerings including subtitling, audio description, dubbing, quality assurance, closed captions, scripting and metadata at the company’s booth located in the main conference hall.
