Los Angeles, USA; 14 June 2023, 4pm BST – Audient releases a video of multi-instrumentalist and Nine Inch Nails/Angels & Airwaves drummer, Ilan Rubin today, which is available for anybody to use.

In the talking head interview, Ilan introduces his lockout studio space in Los Angeles, where he keeps his drum kit, numerous amps, synths “and things that just make proper noise”. Sharing his songwriting secrets, he highlights the advantages of his Audient ASP880 8 channel mic preamp. He also takes the viewer through his writing and recording process, focusing on his new song ‘No Place Left To Go’.

Ilan, who was recently inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame with Nine Inch Nails, also explains how he goes about finding new results when recording, and how perfection might not be all it’s cracked up to be.
